Track Name: On Wounded Knees
When you were a child falling down on your wounded knees.
Climbing bass and cottonwoods tall as the grain silo cats.
Looking down at the prairie slope from top of the tallest tree.
A clear day knew no limit to how far you could see.
Losing your troubled mind in the panoramic post card scenery.
The waves of grain pull you under to the depths of primal sleep.

My wandering eye could take me to the wild West and through the crowded East. Beyond the Boreas of the North to the South Pole of Inaccessibility.

Your wild and restless legs made their wayfaring plea.
Started hitching rides and crossed most every town off the map.
Looking down at the River wide from the top of the Levee Oahe.
Wondering what this land was like when she still ran wild and free.

My wandering eye could take me to the wild West and through the crowded east. Beyond the Boreas of the North to the South Pole of Inaccessibility.
Track Name: Dust Will Settle Down
When the dust settles into the ground maybe baby I'll come back around and be the one I've been promising to be my whole life.
And you will wear that sweet bright smile, lords knows you've waited awhile for the rambling sun to set down in the left coast sky.
The hounds are bayin' high in a discordant chorus reverberating far and wide.
When my road weary head spins back around and finds my feet on unmoving ground, not like the jagged state lines.
Now my baby can close her eyes and not wonder where I slept last night, I was right there in those arms.
Do you still got something to prove?
Do you still got the undone blues?
Can't tie them all up but your damn well gonna try.
Track Name: Kiss the Bull Goodbye
She's got a bullheaded heart horns growing from the sides.
Her bullheaded heart pulls the wool over her eyes.
There's a place in my mind tries to rationalize.
Her bullheaded heart won't give me the time.
When her heart's penned up everything is just fine.
On the loose it's charging everything in sight.
Her bullheaded heart never stands down from a fight.
When it's loose in the china shop better run for your life.

It took me many years but I finally learned to ride the wildest bull South of the Mason-Dixon line.
It took her many years but she's learning to unwind and to rest easy at night with me sleeping by her side.

Now she's got a strong willed heart with ends that won't untie.
Proud and confident but not the foolish kind.
Her bullheaded heart opened up to mine.
Now she's walking down the aisle as my ever lovin' bride.
I'm gonna hold on tight one like this I'll never find.
She's more than any diamond in a mine.
We threw down our guns and kissed the bull goodbye.
Walking hand in hand into the by and by.

It took me many years but I finally learned to ride the wildest bull South of the Mason-Dixon line.
It took her many years but she's learning to unwind and to rest easy at night with me sleeping by her side.
