SabbathJeff (portending pithy review that's wholly irrelevant and superfluous to my real feelings about this music)

What I CAN say is this:

Received. Spun. Loved.

Thank you!

MindOverFour Certainly my favorite AT record. I imagine if Hank Williams Sr. went up in the hollers of Appalachia to find the songs of hill-folk and found that they had Orange Amps and Gibson guitars, this is what it would sound like. Beautiful, thoughtful music here. Favorite track: Driftless Caravan.

wannabejedi Thanks to Bucky for introducing me to these guys and T.G. Olson! what a wonderful swirl of heavy psych, dark folk and of course, those riffs! all around solid album and soon to be a regular spinner on the old TT. highly recommended. Favorite track: Driftless Caravan.

Frederick Jones Like I said in my review of his Sage album T.G. Olson's work is golden and true American. I ordered this on the super cool looking green swirled vinyl and it sounds even better than it looks. A true masterpiece. This album will hold a treasured spot in my collection for a long time to come. Favorite track: Unfortunate Son.
Christøph Trvm

Christøph Trvm A dusty, steamy journey into the past, mixing Americana, Southern Rock and Doom. Massive riffs, catchy songs, nice bits and bites of improv. Favorite track: Unfortunate Son.
Hand of Doom
Hand of Doom thumbnail
Hand of Doom What do you get when you mix gunslingers, tumbleweeds, and dust with psych riffs and a few drops of doom for good measure? You get the heavy, thirsty riffs on "Electric Relics". Standout tracks on the album are 'Pining for the Gravel Roads', 'Driftless Caravan' and the dark, brooding album closer 'Unfortunate Son'. Across Tundras have carved their own unique niche, this is smooth and heavy listening, just not in the usual sledgehammer definition of heavy.

about

"Electric Relics" is our humble offering placed at the crossroads of past, present, and future tense. Age-old energies and 3 phase electric power intersect to reveal hidden truths of bygone times, modern mysticisms, and sound the alarm for uncertain days to come. We walk through this shadowy land in search of a spark to light the fire and illuminate the depths of consciousness.
