Matthew Rukgaber I have admired Across Tundras for a long time, but I am just now getting around to working through their catalogue. The first track on "Sage" may be my favorite AT song of all time, bringing the often hidden math-rock underbelly of this beast to the forefront. As with all AT records, you get heavy, progressive, American-tweaked, post-rock. With "Sage", the theme seems to be the American West. Favorite track: In the Name of River Grand.

Frederick Jones I have come to see and hear that everything that T.G. Olson touches turns golden. His music is as American as it gets. This is the kind of music that really stirs and emotion deep within your soul. He has become my most favorite songwriter in probably the last 20 years. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Favorite track: Mean Season Movin' On.
