Open like a valley
Obscured in muddy water
It seems you can't have one without the other
There were times of plenty
Following fields of nothing
The charity of Sisters and Brothers
And Nature the giving Mother
Stand before the humble mountain
The rock in the center of everything
The rock in the center
Of everything
Can you hear the word forgotten?
Still they haunt us
Whispering from beyond
Do you feel our pain?
Where this goes who dares to follow?
To walk away from a love so fair
A simple life working a field share
The spirit of our forebearers
The cloud that follows
Covering all the memories
Still they haunt us
From beyond the reckoning
Can you hear the word erased?
Burned from our memories
Still they haunt us
Whispering from beyond
Can you feel our pain?
Open in the valley
Obscured in muddy water
There were times of plenty
Following fields of nothing
Trading majestic drone for smoldering assaults, the iconic Japanese outfit rekindle the leaden aggression of their early period. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2020

Conjurer is a special band. I can't put my finger on it, but I love everything this band does and Mire is my favorite album from them. It is one of my favorite albums of all time. Conjurer's songs are so musically dynamic, alternating tempo, harmonies, growls/screams. It is terrific. I love their use of major harmonies as well. I can't play this album while I do anything else because it keeps pulling my attention back to the music, and I hear something new on each listen. bwill05
