Her family lived on the borderline
They were one with the land
Since time immemorial
Before the blood of the lamb
Her name was The Wind
When she drifted Westward I never saw her again
The wind she went down swinging
She cleared us all a path
My arms held her for a moment
Looking back I laugh
Across the rugged ranges of curbs and broken minds
The Wind she was not finished
For the win she was denied
Like a Ruby in the dust
Resting on a mountainside
This is my goodbye
Across the rugged ranges Crazy Horse and Gall did split
Gall ended up farming
He surrendered to the government
I know why he did
Her name was The Wind
When she drifted Westward I never saw her again
In the words of his daughter with a tear in her eye
He could not keep on fighting and watch his family die
Her name was The Wind
When she drifted Westward I never saw her again

These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon.
